Blue Sky Adventures Canyon Bikes

The Half-Day Adventure, Half-Day Mild, and Raft and Kayak trips meet at 8:15 am, 11:15 am, 12:15 pm, or 3:15 pm daily. The Full Day Adventure meets at 8:15 am. The Double Shoshone, Double Deluxe, and the Triple Shoshone trips all meet at 3:15 pm. If you have a group and require a special time, please contact us at our toll free number (1-877-945-6605), as we can often accommodate different times. We hope everybody has a great time!

Your rafting trip will be a very pleasurable experience. We cater our trips according to each individual guest. Some like to have the maximum whitewater thrills, some choose to splash other group members, some like an educational and scenic tour, and some just look for a relaxing float. Whatever your preference, let us know at the time of your reservation or check-in and Blue Sky and your guide will customize the trip to meet your needs.!

Blue Sky has raft trips available for all levels of experience. Our most popular trips are family oriented so no previous experience is necessary and children are always welcome. In high water (early June to mid-July) more adventurous trips can be arranged accordingly.

Bathing suits, non-cotton T-shirts and shorts, hats, sunglasses/strap, sunscreen and sandals with a heal strap, water shoes or old tennis shoes. We provide paddle jackets and paddle pants at no charge. Neoprene booties ($3.00) and wetsuits ($8.00) are available to rent. We encourage you to bring sunscreen and a bottle of water.

We provide all of the necessary equipment and safety features. Bring sunscreen and bottle of water. If you’re driving into Glenwood for the day, a change of clothes after your trip is advisable. Please leave all valuables such as jewelry, non water proof cameras or watches at home or in your hotel or car. Because of the nature of outdoor adventure activities Blue Sky cannot be responsible for lost or damaged articles. We will keep your car keys at our office.

We welcome everyone young and old. Children’s minimum weight 35-50 pounds depending upon water levels. We have trips suitable for all levels of rafters. Pets are not allowed on any of the trips, however, we can accommodate certain dog sitting situations or make recommendations for places that can better assist your needs.

Blue Sky has a full-line gift shop stocked with T-shirts, River ready apparel, shorts, sunglasses and straps, snack, drinks, waterproof cameras and misc. Souvenirs.

Blue Sky Adventures, Inc. will do everything possible to insure a safe and enjoyable trip. Because of the nature of outdoor adventure activities, we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged articles or personal injury. A signed Assumption of Risk Agreement will be required before departure. Anyone under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to sign for him or her.

Blue Sky has an impeccable safety record. Our professional guides are certified in CPR and first aid and meet all the State of Colorado requirements (plus a few of our own). They are trained in all aspects of river safety and will provide you with a complete safety orientation before launching out on the river. Most of our trips are perfectly suitable for families and beginners as long as you are willing to get wet!

Only the highest quality equipment: Hyside inflatable 13 & 16 foot rafts, NRS Type 3/5 Coast Guard approved life jackets, Carlisle oars and paddles. Helmets available at all times. Each 16 foot raft with an oar frame carries 6-9 participants plus 1 certified guide. Each 13 foot raft carries up to 5-6 participants plus 1 certified guide. Our 12 foot rental boats carry approx. 5-6 people.

You are able to make a reservation either over the phone, online. or via email. If possible, reservations are recommended in advance, especially for groups of 8 or more. Walk-ins are always welcome. A 10% deposit is required to hold your reservation. If you would like to pay for the trip upon making a reservations, we do accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express with phone and online reservations.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so up to 12 hours prior to the trip check-in time without any penalty. Any reservation cancelled less than 12 hours before the check-in time will be charged 10% of the price of the trip. “No shows” or cancellations made after the “Meeting Time” will be charged the full cost of the trip. Simply call or e-mail to confirm your cancellation or reservation change.  We will look forward to seeing you.
